steer is in private beta. Features can change, break, or be removed, and access may be limited, paused, or ended. We may ask for feedback. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, beta access is provided free of charge and without any service-level commitment. Pricing shown on the website is a draft and is not an offer.
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract to use steer. Keep your sign-in secure and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account, including tasks you start or approve and scheduled work you configure.
You keep ownership of the content you provide or connect, including meetings, notes, files, and messages. You give us permission to host, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, and improve steer and as described in our privacy policy.
You are responsible for having the rights and consents needed for the content you give steer, including recording and transcribing other people.
steer uses AI models that can make mistakes. Summaries, research, drafts, code, and other output may be incomplete or wrong. Review output before relying on it, especially for legal, financial, medical, or other consequential decisions.
When you ask or allow steer to act, such as editing files, running commands, browsing as you, or sending, posting, or changing something in a connected account, you are responsible for that action and its result. Approval prompts help you review consequential steps; they do not guarantee an outcome.
steer can work with services you connect and websites you use through your own browser session. Your use of those services remains subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, and you are responsible for making sure your use of steer with them is permitted.

steer, including its software, design, and brand, belongs to us and our licensors. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use steer during the beta. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.
You can stop using steer at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access, including if you break these terms or when the beta ends. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as content rights, disclaimers, and liability limits, continue after access ends.
steer is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that steer will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that output will be accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to steer is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for steer in the 12 months before the claim or US $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so some of these may not apply to you.
You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content, your use of steer, or your breach of these terms or the law, to the extent permitted by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Mateo County, California, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction.
We may update these terms as steer changes. We will revise the date above and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continuing to use steer after changes take effect means you accept them.
